OneAnswerAI is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your information.

Data We Collect

Device Identifier: We generate a SHA256 hash of your device's unique identifier for JWT authentication purposes. This hash is anonymous, non-reversible, and cannot be used to identify you personally.

Query Text: Your questions are sent to three AI providers — OpenAI (GPT-4o-mini), Google Gemini (Gemini 2.0 Flash), and Anthropic Claude (Claude 3 Haiku) — for processing. The responses are fused into a single optimized answer. Queries are not permanently stored on our servers.

Media Files: PDF documents and images you submit are sent temporarily to AI providers for analysis. These files are not persisted on our servers and are discarded after processing.

Server-Side Data

To manage quotas and subscriptions, we store the following data on our server (PostgreSQL hosted on Render):

Anonymous device hash
Subscription tier and status
Daily query counter
Purchased query credits
Subscription expiration date

No personally identifiable information is stored.

Data Stored Locally

Conversation History: Your chat history is stored only on your device using local storage. We do not have access to this data.

We use the following third-party services to provide our functionality:

In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

OneAnswerAI offers auto-renewable subscriptions (Weekly Pro at $5.99/week, Monthly Pro at $17.00/month) and consumable query packs. All payments are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store any payment information. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in iOS Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions.

Data Security

All communications between the app and our servers use HTTPS encryption. Authentication tokens are stored securely in your device's Keychain.

Children's Privacy

OneAnswerAI is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
